To Be Continued....

I woke up this morning, rolled over, and said to my husband, "It is June 1st." I closed my eyes again and sighed, "Oh. My. God."

I have 12 days left to get everything packed up for the sea container that will be arriving.

12 days.

Would you like to see what my office looks like right now?

Oh, shit. I am in deep, deep trouble here.

I am going to be the heavy here. I am the master of my destiny AND my domain. (hee hee *wink, wink* nudge, nudge) I will make the hard decision here.

I am so addicted to this crazy on-line world and all of your outrageous, authentic, beautiful personalities. But I've got things to attend to that can no longer be procrastinated away.

I am going to Blogger Rehab. I will be detoxing the hard way over the next two weeks. That's right. I'm going cold turkey. I honestly can't even imagine how I will make it that long. I really can't.

But I must and will.

When I get to Montana in two weeks, I will def. be back for a post or two. And July will see a resumption of business, as usual. Wish me luck!

Oh, and I'm sure I will be twittering (I'm not going back to the Stone Age, after all!), so you can catch updates there. Twitter seems to have decided that my account isn't worth saving (damn their non-existent support!!), so if you don't see any activity on my 'amysprite' account, check out my NEW account under 'BitchinWife.'

I'll miss you guys!!!!!

  17. Good choice, Bitchin. Too easy to put things off and come play around here. Hmm, what should I be doing right now?

Might I suggest a snow shovel? Just toss it all in the container as is. Might be easier to unpack that way. Just a thought.

  18. Good luck with the packing and online withdrawal.

Wait... isn't Montana in the opposite direction of England?

  19. You must be made of strong Midwestern stock to be able to break away completely for that long! Me and my own Midwestern stock admire you. It also just followed your other Twitter account so I don't miss a second when you are around! I'm weak I tell ya!

    Good luck!

  26. oh, and holy hell lady-can I come over to help you with that room? Friends don't sit by and let friends tackle that kind of stuff alone. Well, unless one friend is in NJ and the other is in WI.

  27. Instead of our breakfast date would you rather we packed? Because I totally don't mind helping you do that. Let me know.

  28. Assuming that we are all suffering from the same addiction the only advice I can give you is this. Pack the computer first!!! Then you wont have the temptation to "just peek". Thats what I would have to do! Good luck :)

  33. I'm sure you'll get everything done. Just do one room at a time baby. That's what everyone tells me, and I STILL can't get my shite together! ... HAH. I think you have it more together than I do though, so you'll be FINE FINE FINE!!!

    blessings!

  34. I totally don't blame you, it's an all-or-nothing kind of thing. But we'll miss you.

My favorite method of packing is one of those plastic storage bins, an arm sweep of the desk, and...you're done.

  35. Good luck and when things get really stressful, just pretend they are fun! Don't be surprised if people start looking at you funny.

I don't have the, um... credentials to be an official member of the club, but I figure that I could start practicing.

  37. Dude. I do NOT envy you.

I thought packing to move across country sucked.. packing to move to another country?? I imagine that sucks more.

We had about 4wks from the time we found out we were moving until we left.. and Christmas was tossed in the middle there.. good times.
