What's that? A NEW blog and Awards?!? Where do I sign?

Hey, ya'll. A little bird has been whispering to me about this new blog out there. I'm not sure who the ladies behind this brainchild are, but I do know that they are doling out heapin' helpin's of advice to people with humor, wit, and some actual common sense. Kind of like Ann Landers crossed with Nigella Lawson and then spiked with some Chelsea Handler. And, if like me, you have burning questions that need to be heard and answered, even by the most unstable of domestic divas, why don't you:


Could it be that part of the fun is trying to figure out which of your favorite bloggers are The Mouthy Housewives?

In other news, I haven't gotten a bloggy award in ages! Until yesterday. And now I find myself the recipient of TWO stunning new Blog Awards. Thank you, so much for reading and thinking kindly of my bloggy bits. It is always such a treat to find new, great blogs and the blog award system is such a fun way to recognize your friends and help give new bloggers the drive to continue on their mission. At least that is how I felt about it when I started this blogging biz for realz last September (I was just a part-timer before that). :)

First, that jocular anecdotist from the UK, Mo "Mad Dog" Stoneskin, passed me the Sushi-Grade Blog Award. He was kind enough to note that he learned all about "mopping" from my post of a few days ago. Lord knows, I started this blog as a "how-to" in the domestic arts, so I am just pleased as punch that someone (anyone) finally noticed!!

Smart A$$ Mom, I don't think I have to explain why she rocks... just look at her name, for chrissakes!

The next award came from my Chick Chat buddy, Hangin' With Mrs. Cooper, the woman who's marital relationship I most aspire to (I felt downright guilty for my rant on my husband's snoring after watching her vlog that day!). :) She kindly gave me the One Lovely Blog Award, which says that I have to pass this onto 15 new blogs. I am putting a little spin on this of my own and am awarding it to 15 of the newest followers of my blog. I have been blessed over the last couple weeks with blossoming numbers in my followers and Feedburner, and would like to give back a little bloggy love.
