Valentine's Edition of Six Word Saturday

"Six Word Saturday"is hosted by the wonderfully stupendous Cate over at Show My Face.

I am jumping on Cate's bandwagon and accepting her challenge to describe what is going on in my life in exactly six words:

Time away makes my love grow.
Thank you to my darling Daddy-007 and the three young pups! Their time away has made me love them all the more dearly and I can say that I'm actually kind of looking forward to their three-ring circus arriving home tomorrow. :)

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!!

P.S. Tomorrow is the big day: The Animal turns 3! My baby is not going to be my snuggle monkey for much longer, so I have been squeezing him extra tight and holding him for a just a few extra seconds every time I find him in my arms. I've also been demanding tons of kisses and hugs. Only about six more years of this fabulous, exuberant, demonstrative love left before he's just another kid that says, "Aw, mom, not in front of my friends!"

A far cry from the little boy that yells at the top of his lungs every day at preschool pickup: "MY MOMMY!!!!!!!!" and runs over to leap into my arms. :))))

  1. If you play your cards right, he may "un-snuggle" for a few years but come back full force in his 20's and 30's (like me), and you'll never be able to get him to let go!

  17. I hate that they grow up so fast! Your pic of all the boys is so cute - and I think there should be a mandatory 2 day get-away of dads and kids while mommy's stay home and recharge our "you're so sweet!" batteries. Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

  22. Fantastic hubby! If you're anticipating their arrival -- then they've been gone just long enough. I always want that time away - but not for Mother's Day as my hubby was suggesting last year... that just feels wrong. I may suggest it for Valentine's day next year. He can take the little sweethearts camping or something... double bonus points, because I don't have to go camping. ;) Happy Valentine's Day!

  25. when Phoebe was two and I would go and pick her up, she would come running into my arms, yelling mommy!!!! She's five and that is all a thing of the past now. Worst of it, I had forgotten all about that until now. Where does the time go? Where?

  26. I just noticed you have a Stumble button...I love Stumble Upon! It keeps me from going to the same sights over and over!

I love hugs and snuggles from little boys. Little girls like to snuggle too, but there's something different about having a little boy toss a frog to the side to snuggle in for a hug!

It's great that you got a few moments of "me" time!! :)
