Here's the link to MamaPop's BlogHer cocktail party. I'll be there jockeying for a spot at the karaoke mic and I hope that you will be there, too. RSVP soon, though, because apparently the space is limited. Unless someone coughs up some more sponsorship money, that is. C'mon, deep pockets, give it up for the laay-deeees!
Rock on, party people! I'll be back soon, assuming my husband and I don't kill each other in the packing melee. To clarify my crazy schedule (as a few have asked, but I have faithfully stopped responding, per my (now broken) vow of blogger rehab:
I am leaving for Montana for a photography expedition/seminar this weekend, then returning on the 20th to pack up the rest of the house and get it loaded into a sea container on the 23rd (my birthday, since you insisted on knowing! ;).... from there we head to our summer home in Iowa, where I plan on relaxing and blogging to my heart's content for the entirety of July. August will see the Furious Five flying to the wilds of England where, no doubt, chaos and hilarity will ensue. Phew! I'm out of breath just writing that!

i knew you couldn't last even a week :) are you in MT yet?
ReplyDeleteYes, we are like crack. It's hard to stay away. Glad to see you snuck in, even for a minute.
ReplyDeleteOff the wagon and on the mic.
ReplyDeleteYAW!
I miss you already. I do. ;(
Ha! I knew you'd be back...
ReplyDeleteIt's all too loooooong....
Sounds busy, but fantastic! Good luck with it all!
ReplyDeleteHa! I'll be there too!
ReplyDeleteBut sing softly, ok? Because I'll probably have a headache!
Thanks the gods! I thought I was the only one with the problem. "Hi, my name is Magaly and I'm addicted to blogging"
ReplyDeleteWell, have fun packing and at the party. And don't kill the hubby, you might need him later ;)
Knew you couldn't stay away, packing be damned. My name is Cid and I'm a blogaholic.
ReplyDeleteI'll so be there for that par-tay at BlogHer. Looking forward to meeting you in person and kowtowing to you in person...well, more a hug than the whole kowtow thing.
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo, packing sucks, but look at the adventure ahead of you. Life is not the destination, but the journey!
Here here for crazy summers! I got to play wee rockstar last week and LOVED it. I suck on drums though. I never realized I was THAT uncoordinated.
ReplyDeleteHave WAAAAY too much fun for me!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a blast. Just think, some day your life will be so much more settled down and this kind of stuff will be the stuff of dreams!

ReplyDeleteHave fun in Montana. Kinda jealous I'm not going there too. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThe word on the street is that you'll be posting a video of the jockeying for the karaoke mic and the subsequent singing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wild and crazy time, fun filled packed summer! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHey Lady. I look forward to reading every article of your upcoming summer.

ReplyDeleteI just knew the quitting cold turkey wasn't going to last long! Happy to have you temporarily back..
ReplyDeleteThe depths of your bloggy addiction shine brightly. LOL. I knew you could not stay away, it was starting to show in your tweets. You needed your blog fix. You were tapping your arm and sweating profusely. Have a tremendous time in beautiful Montana. God's country.
ReplyDeleteI have been neglectful in reading and commenting due to I don't want to so I missed your whole I'm going and so there period.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at BlogHer!!
I'll be there too! Can't wait!
ReplyDeletePacking will still be there when you get back to it!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's amazing how much packing you can cram into a small amount of time...so keep blogging on!
Just a reminder, it might not seem like hilarity at the time. That might take a couple of days before it sets in.
ReplyDeleteCome on over and get your award
