Before The Bitches Walked the Walk, They Shook It To That Jazzercize Beat!

Braja, over at Lost and Found in India, just posted our (hers, mine and the Vodka Mom's) latest dancing exploit. I thought I'd reveal our more humble beginnings.... Back before we could move freely around, "Walking it Out" all over the studio, we were stapled to the studio floor or our living room spaces in front of the TV. Working our boogie bodies into a froth of sweat and delight. Shimmying to the "momma's little helpers" that are so clearly coursing through the veins of the Jazzercizing Diva in this video.

  2. I found your blog through my friend Janie's blog, Sounding Forth. After reading several of your posts, I love it! I'm a bitching wife who adores the man she's married to... does that mean I'm qualified to join? Hell, I have to do something to make him leave his important position as Resident Couch Potato.

  6. Oh this is just too good. I love you, even if I'm still bitter and angry about your need to move across the hemisphere.

You guys are now on the top five list of my favorite dance troupe.

  9. Braja: Those gals are totally on something a LOT more substantial than a natural high on life. If I had been more than a snotty 5th grader when this phenomenon was going down I would've totally been shaking my boogie body!

Snooty: I love your screen name and it speaks volumes.... we must meet, you are totally in the Club!

PacingPanic: Great idea! You could start your YouTube side business and make millions! Let us know when it's done and it will get total link-love.

Janie: Only in my living room, I'm afraid. I'm going to be walking it out after today, though.

  10. Joanie6276: I love nothing more that getting awards. THANK YOU!!! And I've been seriously jonesing for that "Fabulous" badge. I'm going to boogie on over and grab it for my post tomorrow. Thank you thank you!

Oh, Rants! When aren't you bitter and angry?! ;) I mean, you've built a whole blog out of rants! I love you, too, darling, but remember: We'll always have the blog love and the internet doesn't care how far away I move. :) Now, let's make a date to go out dancing. SOON.

Yaya: Thank you! We'll be here all week!!! (Smile, Pageant-Wave, Smile)

  13. Shhhh, Braja! We'll be dancing the nights away in England (when I have a nanny and actually get out more) soon enough. Don't upset her anymore than she already is.... ;)

Csquared: You just made my day and depressed me all at the same time. Wouldn't it be 10times more hilarious if it really was us, though?!

  16. Okay. I'm about to totally humiliate myself. But Is that really you guys?

On my blog I did a similar dance with the Younger Man. It was with a company called Boogie Bodies. Oh...I'm so confused.
