Megalodon Teeth and a Dork

Huh, how 'bout that?! My traveling sister- and brother-in-law just got back from a month long trip to Florida, where they did (among other cool, leisurely things that couples without children can do) a 130-foot dive to see a sunken aircraft carrier. They brought back some random artifacts from the sea: a handful of sand shark teeth, three amazing and HUGE megalodon teeth, fossilized bits of stingray barb, and a "dork."

Hmmm, a dork, you say? What's that? Well, folks, that would be the fossilized penis of a whale. That's right, you heard me. I didn't stutter. They brought back a fossilized whale dick. Actually, just the tip of it, but it was pretty clear what it was. It looks pretty much like what you'd think....only bigger. And made of rock. Apparently that and a lot of other very cool stuff is just lying around the bottom of the ocean, thirty feet down, just waiting to be sifted through and brought to the surface. I look forward to adventures like this when my boys are all grown up and able to join in the fun!
