One of my Faves

I am posting one of my favorite recipes ever today: Pork and Hominy Stew! I know, it sounds dreadful, doesn't it? The friend who gave it to me has a nickname for it, "Pork Three Ways" because the recipe calls for pork shoulder or butt, bacon, and ham. Again, yummmm.(?) You'll have to trust me on this one and just get over it and be adventurous. It really is one of the yummiest stews I've ever had.

In fairness to Epicurious and copyright law, and all, I am just providing the link to it:

I would recommend using a good beer, I usually use Spotted Cow but Amber Wheat varieties taste great in this. I used Budweiser once, ONCE, because the end product really didn't have the depth of flavor that a better beer provided. Enjoy!
